Tutoring Services

I am excited to be offering private tutoring services for students at UVM. I am currenlty offering tutoring for Organic and General Chemistry. I also occasionally tutor for additionial courses that you can find below.

I am eager to help students who are looking to sharpen their skills in these subject areas. I have many years of experience with chemistry content, and experience as a chemistry lab instructor. This gives me the ability to assist students both with challenging topics, and tackling lab skills. If you need help understanding what you did in lab, you want to improve your writing, or just go over some challening topics from class, I can help.

How does tutoring work

Sessions are 1 hour in length. When we meet, we can discuss how the course is going for you, what is working, what isn’t, and derive a plan for the given session, and our sessions going forward.

For students who have recurring meetings, we create a plan to tackle the different facets of the class that you want to focus on.

I typicaly tutor on an individual student basis, but can also hold small group sessions, usually no more than 3.

Billing

I offer a discout for the first session of tutoring. If we are a good fit for each other, we can schedule a follow up session at my regular rate.

I book for 1 hour at a time, and can meet on campus, or online.

I also offer group tutoring for up to 3 students at a discounted rate per person. Email me at academic-armory@proton.me for inquiries about scheduling a session.
